A 23-year-old man was shot Saturday evening in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

At 6:49 p.m., the man was in the 1700 block of West 57th Street when a dark-colored Chevrolet Malibu drove by and someone inside opened fire, striking him in the foot, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Holy Cross Hospital in good condition, police said.
