One man was killed and another was critically injured in a rollover crash early Saturday on I-80 near southwest suburban Joliet.

The single-vehicle crash was discovered at 5:49 a.m. on the Bridge Street exit ramp from westbound I-80, according to Illinois State Police. The exact time of the crash is unknown.

The driver, 26-year-old Taylor J. Bryant-Anderson of Chicago, was thrown from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and the Will County coroner’s office.

A passenger, a 26-year-old Chicago man, was critically injured and was airlifted to a hospital, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
