Two men were wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

About 7:15 p.m., a male approached the two men — ages 40 and 24 — and started a conversation with them as they sat in a vehicle in the 3200 block of West 38th Place, Chicago Police said.

The male began shooting at them as they drove east on 38th Place, police said.

The older man was struck in his head and the younger man was struck in his arm, police said. Both were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where the older man was in critical condition and the younger man was in good condition.

The shooting appeared to be gang-related, police said.
