SHARE 55-year-old man critically wounded in South Shore stabbing

A 55-year-old man was stabbed late Friday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood.

It happened duringa domestic incident about 5:30 p.m. at a home in the 1600 block of East 78th Street, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken in critical condition to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, police said. The investigation was ongoing.
