One lane of 127th Street in south suburban Blue Island is closed for sewer repairs Friday.

A single lane of eastbound 127th is closed between Western and Irving avenues, according to the Illinois Department of Transportation. The left turn lane from 127th to Irving is also closed for the duration of the repairs.

It was not immediately clear when the repairs would be completed.
