A teenage boy was wounded in a North Lawndale neighborhood shooting early Sunday on the West Side.

About 1:10 a.m., the 17-year-old was standing on the sidewalk in the 1200 block of South Lawndale when a white SUV pulled up, someone got out and fired shots, according to Chicago Police. The shooter was described as a black male, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The teenager was shot in the right leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The remains, of a man possibly in his 40s, were recovered about 6:40 a.m.
The woman, 18, was driving a car with three passengers at a restaurant when a man on a bike approached and began arguing with them before shooting, police said.
A 34-year-old man was found on the sidewalk in the 200 block of East 111th Street at about 10 p.m., police said. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he died.
