A 24-year-old man was shot Tuesday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

He was walking on the sidewalk at 10:19 p.m. in the 4100 block of West 15th Street when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

The man had been shot in the right forearm, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
