Man shot in foot in Austin

A man was wounded in a shooting early Wednesday in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 22-year-old man was walking down the street shortly before 2 a.m. in the 5000 block of West Iowa when someone fired shots at him, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the foot and later showed up at West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
