A man was wounded Sunday afternoon in a South Chicago drive-by shooting.

At 3:18 p.m., the 39-year-old man was in a vehicle in the 9100 block of South Mackinaw when a gray van pulled up and someone inside opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the chest and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition stabilized, police said. The shooting appears to be gang-related.
