A 26-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday on I-80/94 near south suburban Lansing.

The crash happened about 4:30 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of I-80/94 near Torrence Avenue, according to Illinois State Police.

Julio C. Gallegos-Davila was dead at the scene, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. Gallegos-Davila, a Blue Island resident, was the only person in the vehicle.

All eastbound lanes of the expressway were closed for more than two hours after the crash.
