Two men were wounded in a shooting Friday morning in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The men, ages 24 and 26, were in the 1500 block of South Christiana when an unknown person opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

The 24-year-old man suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the face, abdomen and arm, police said. The 26-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the face and neck.

Both men were taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where the younger man’s condition stabilized and the older man was in fair condition.
