Man, 42, shot in West Town

A man was shot Monday afternoon in the West Town neighborhood on the Near West Side.

The 42-year-old was shot in the leg at 1:22 p.m. in the 1900 block of West Maypole, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He took himself to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in good condition, police said.
