Man shot in Homan Square

A man was shot Tuesday evening in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.

The 22-year-old was standing in the 3500 block of West Polk Street at 10:26 p.m. when someone fired shots, striking him in the back, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in fair condition, police said.
