A 22-year-old man was shot in the foot Wednesday afternoon in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

About 12:44 p.m., someone walked up to the man in the 700 block of North Lockwood and opened fire, Chicago Police said.

The man was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park in good condition, police said.
