A man robbed a bank at gunpoint Thursday morning in south suburban Olympia Fields.

The takeover robbery happened at 11:04 a.m. at a Chase Bank branch at 3302 Vollmer Rd. in Olympia Fields, according to the FBI.

The suspect was described as a black male, about 5-foot-8 with a thin build, wearing a black mask and all black clothing, according to the FBI. He ran away after the robbery.

A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest. Anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
