A man was shot early Sunday in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

At 1:26 a.m., the 33-year-old was standing in the 4400 block of West Congress Parkway when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the left arm and taken to Rush University Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
