A woman was shot Monday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

About 7:45 p.m., the 26-year-old was in the 4700 block of West Polk when a dark-colored SUV pulled up and someone inside fired shots, Chicago Police said.

She suffered a gunshot wound to her left leg, and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
