A teenage boy was shot Friday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

About 9:19 p.m., the 17-year-old was in the 3200 block of West Ohio when he heard shots and felt pain, Chicago Police said.

He was shot in his left hand and taken to Norwegian American Hospital in good condition, police said.
