A 49-year-old man was shot while riding his bicycle early Saturday in the Old Town neighborhood on the Near North Side.

He was riding his bike about 12:45 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Clybourn when he felt pain and noticed he was shot, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the leg, police said. His condition was stabilized.
