A bank was robbed Thursday morning in west suburban Forest Park.

The non-takeover robbery happened at the U.S. Bank branch at 7525 Madison St. in Forest Park at 10:57 a.m., according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.

The suspect was described as a 5-foot-9, 180-pound balding white man between 50 and 60 years old, with a thin build and wearing a green polo shirt and jeans, according to the FBI.
