A man was shot Saturday evening in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

About 10:20 p.m., the 19-year-old was standing in the backyard of a home in the 7300 block of South Greenwood when shots rang out, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition with a gunshot wound to the buttocks, police said.
