A 15-year-old boy was shot Tuesday night in the East Chatham neighborhood on the South Side.

About 9:15 p.m., he was walking west on 82nd Street at Ellis Avenue when several males walked up to him, Chicago Police said. One of the males pulled out a gun and fired shots.

The boy was shot in his left arm and suffered a graze wound to his abdomen, police said. He was taken to a Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition.
