Two people were killed and another injured in a shooting early Friday in northwest Indiana.

Officers were called shortly before 4 a.m. for reports of multiple gunshot victims in the 1100 block of Delaware Street in Gary, according to Gary police. They arrived to find a man, a teenage boy, and a female victim with gunshot wounds.

One of the victims, 25-year-old Nathaniel Bobo, suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was taken to Methodist Northlake Hospital in Gary, where he was pronounced dead at 4:49 a.m., according to the Lake County coroner’s office. He lived in the same block where the shooting occurred.

Jamaris Frierson, 16, was also shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene at 5:09 a.m., according to police and the coroner’s office. He lived in Hobart, Indiana.

The female victim was being treated for her injuries at a hospital, police said. Her age and condition were not provided.
