A man was wounded in an East Garfield Park neighborhood shooting late Saturday on the West Side.

The 50-year-old was walking about 11:10 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Madison when he heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the right arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
