A truck fire Wednesday evening closed all lanes of traffic headed north on the Bishop Ford Expressway.

At 5:47 p.m., firefighters responded to a call of a tractor-trailer on fire on Interstate 94 West near 97th Street, according to the Chicago Fire Department. Responding crews put the fire out by 6:20 p.m.

No injuries were reported, according to the fire department and Illinois State Police.

All lanes of I-94 West were temporarily closed as fire crews battled the blaze, state police said. Lanes were back open by 6:30 p.m.
