A man was shot Thursday night in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 23-year-old was walking north about 9:15 p.m. when he heard gunshots in the 2300 block of South Rockwell, Chicago Police said.

He was struck in his left leg and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
