A 17-year-old girl who went missing last month from the South Shore neighborhood has been found safe.

Varsharee Alexander had last been seen July 24 in the 1400 block of East 68th Street, according to a missing person alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Thursday afternoon that Alexander had been found safe.
