A woman was shot Wednesday morning in the Chicago Lawn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The shooting happened at 9:19 a.m. in the 6900 block of South Artesian, according to Chicago Police.

The 23-year-old suffered a graze wound to the left hand and was taken in good condition to Holy Cross Hospital, police said.
