Woman, 24, shot in Austin

A 24-year-old woman was shot Monday night in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

She was walking on the sidewalk at 10:16 p.m. in the 5300 block of West Adams when she heard shots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police. She had been shot in the left foot.

The woman was taken to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where her condition stabilized, police said.
