A woman was shot Sunday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 22-year-old was a passenger in a vehicle heading south in the 800 block of North Trumbull at 5:53 a.m. when a male fired shots from the sidewalk, according to Chicago Police.

She was shot twice in the right thigh and taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

It was not known Sunday morning if the woman and the vehicle were the intended targets of the shooting.
