A motorcyclist was killed in a crash Thursday morning in north suburban Glencoe.
The body of 29-year-old George Berbedes was discovered by a pedestrian at 6:45 a.m. at Lake Cook and Sheridan roads, according to Glencoe police.
Berdebes, who lived in Bourbonnais, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:08 a.m., according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office. An autopsy ruled his death an accident.

About 1:45 a.m., Berbedes was riding with a group of other motorcyclists north on Sheridan Road when a public safety officer tried to pull them over, police said. The motorcyclists sped up and refused to pull over.
