A woman was pulled from the Chicago River early Monday in the Loop.

Witnesses said shejumped from the Michigan Avenue bridgeabout 2:35 a.m.,Chicago Fire Department Battalion Chief Patrick Maloney told reporters at the scene.

After throwing a buoy to the 32-year-old woman, a CFD diver went into the water to help her get out.

She was conscious and alert and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition, Maloney said.
