A man shot during a drug-related robbery Thursday afternoon in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.
about 12:30 p.m., the 24-year-old was in an alley in the 6700 block of South Halsted when another male pulled out a gun, according to Chicago Police. As they struggled over the weapon, the male pulled another gun from his waistband and shot the man in his left thigh.
He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital in an unknown condition, police said.
The incident is believed to be a drug-related robbery.
