A man was shot Monday afternoon in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 26-year-old was arguing with someone at 12:18 p.m. in the 4700 block of West Lake when he was shot in his leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital in good condition, police said.

No one was in custody as Area North detectives investigated the shooting.
