CTA buseswerererouted due to street blockages Saturday in the South Loop.

No. 18 buses headed eastboundwere temporarily rerouted via State Street, 11th Street, Wabash Avenue, and Roosevelt Rooseveltabout 12:40 p.m. according to the Chicago Transit Authority.

Westbound buseswerenot affected, authorities said.

Travelerswereadvisedtoallow for extra travel time.

Normal service resumed around 3 p.m.
