A man was stabbed in the face and neck Sunday morning in the University Village neighborhood on theSouth Side.

The 20-year-old man was stabbedabout 6 a.m. in the 6800 block of Ashland Avenue, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

The manwas taken to Holy Cross Hospital, where his conditionstabilized, police said.

He was not cooperating with investigators, police said.
