2 wounded in Back of the Yards shooting

Two men were wounded in a shooting Monday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

The shooting happened about 3:45 p.m. in the 4400 block of South Ashland, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

A 32-year-old man was shot in the buttocks and a 68-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to his lower body, police said. Both men were taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
