A man was shot Thursday evening in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

Two people got out of a vehicle at 6:04 p.m. in the 800 block of North Central Park Avenue and opened fire, striking the 21-year-old man in the foot, according to Chicago Police. The man was taken to Norwegian American Hospital in good condition.

Two suspects were taken into custody and charges against them were pending Friday morning, police said. Area North detectives are investigating.
