A man was killed and another was critically wounded in a shooting Saturday morning in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the Far South Side.

They were standing about 11:15 a.m. in the 1300 block of West 110th Place when someone in a white sedan fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

Jamon Harris, 20, suffered a gunshot wound to his chest and was pronounced dead at 11:55 a.m., police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office said. He lived in the same neighborhood as the shooting.

A 23-year-old man was shot in the leg and struck by a vehicle, police said. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition.

No one was in custody as Area Central detectives investigated the shooting.
