A week of dominant performances helped shape the new Super 25 entering Week 7. Nine of the top 15 teams won by 40 points or more.

Top-ranked Lincoln-Way East, took down previously undefeated Homewood-Flossmoor in a commanding 48-6 win in Frankfort. The Griffins showed their dominance on both sides of the ball with a beatdown of the Vikings, who only slide down one spot in the new rankings.

No. 2 Batavia and No. 3 Nazareth also looked dominant in Week 6 victories. Batavia rolled in a 48-point win over Geneva while Nazareth had no trouble in a 55-17 win over Carmel. They’re joined in the top four by No. 4 Oswego, which moves up from No. 5 after a 48-point win against Romeoville.

A few new faces debut in the rankings this week. Glenbard East joins the Super 25 after quality wins against West Aurora (5-1) and South Elgin (5-1). Hillcrest and Rolling Meadows also join.
