A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing last week from an unincorporated area of DuPage County near west suburban Willowbrook has been found safe.

Breanna Irizarry was last seen about 8 a.m. Oct. 1 near the intersection of Honeysuckle Rose and Lilac lanes, according to an alert from the DuPage County sheriff’s office.

On Thursday, the sheriff’s office announced she had been found safe, but did not provide additional information.
