A man was wounded in a shooting early Tuesday in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 27-year-old was walking on the sidewalk when he heard shots and felt pain at 2:01 a.m. in the 2800 block of West Diversey Avenue, according to Chicago police.

He was shot in his right leg and was taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Area Central detectives were investigating.
