Man missing from East Side has been found

A man reported missing after walking away from his home Sunday in the East Side neighborhood on the Far South Side has been found

Jose “Shadow” Vasquez, 55, was reported missing from the 10500 block of South Avenue L, according to a missing persons alert from Chicago police.

On Monday, police announced Vasquez had been found, but did not provide additional information.

After about seven and half hours of deliberations, the jury convicted Sandra Kolalou, 37, of all the charges she faced, which included first-degree murder, dismembering a body, concealing a homicidal death and aggravated identity theft. Her attorney plans to appeal.
