A man was found dead Wednesday morning in Marquette Park on the South Side.

Frank Johnson Jr., 50, was found dead outdoors about 10:25 a.m. inside the park in the 6900 block of South Kedzie, according to Chicago police and the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office. He lived in the same neighborhood.

Autopsy results were pending on Thursday.

Area Central detectives were continuing their death investigation.
