Man, 34, wounded in Homan Square shooting

A man was wounded in a shooting Wednesday afternoon in the Homan Square neighborhood.

The 34-year-old was shot in the face and arm when someoneapproachedhim and fired shots about 3:20 p.m. as he walked in the 3500 block of West Flournoy, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said.
