Man, 27, shot in South Shore

A 27-year-old man was shot Friday afternoon in South Shore.

About 12:45 p.m., the man was standing in the 1900 block of East 67th Street when someone walked up to him and fired shots, striking him in the left leg, according to Chicago police.

He was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
