An Indiana man was fatally shot early Sunday in the South Side Englewood neighborhood.

Robert T.C. Anderson, 32, was sitting in a parked vehicle about 2:55 a.m. in the 5900 block of South Elizabeth Street when someone approached and fired shots, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Anderson was shot multiple times in his body and pronounced dead at 3:13 a.m., according to police. He lived in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Autopsy results are still pending for the women, who were found unresponsive at the James Sneider Apartments, where the local alderperson said the air conditioning remained off during last week’s hot spell.
The mayor’s announcement that the citywide weekend curfew on minors would be set at 10 p.m. comes a day after she imposed a ban on unaccompanied minors in Millennium Park after 6 p.m., Thursdays through Sundays.
