A woman was arrested after stabbing a man to death during a domestic-related incident Friday morning in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
At 1:43 a.m., 33-year-old Jamal Hubbard was arguing with the woman in the front entryway of an apartment in the 800 block of North Harding when she stabbed him in the chest, according to Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Hubbard, who lived in the same block, was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. An autopsy Friday found he died of the stab wound and his death was ruled a homicide.
Officers took the woman into custody and detectives believe the slaying was “domestic-related,” police said.
Area North detectives were investigating.
