South Shore route 71 buses were being rerouted due to street blockages Monday night into early Sunday on the Far South Side.

Buses were being temporarily rerouted in both directions via 71st, King Drive, 75th, Dorchester, and 71st, due to street blockage, according to the Chicago Transit Authority.

The CTA was urging customers to allow for extra travel time.
