A man was shotand killed Tuesday morning in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

Maurice D. Hutson, 24, was fighting with a group of males about 12:25 a.m. in the 6800 block of South Normal when one of the males pulled out a handgun and shot him in the back, according to Chicago Police

Hutson was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead at 1:06 a.m., police said.

Area South detectives were investigating the killing.
